BrushLens Support
Write to hello@brushlens.app. Soren answers himself, usually within two working days. Say which device you use and, if it is about a recipe, which palette you had active.
Managing or canceling a subscription bought in the app
Open BrushLens, tap the gear on the Studio screen, then Manage subscription. You can also open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring a purchase
On a new device, or after reinstalling: tap the gear on the Studio screen, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
Refunds
Purchases made in the app are billed by Apple, and Apple handles refunds: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
The recipe does not look right in paint
Percentages are by volume of paint. Tube colors differ between brands, and strong pigments such as phthalo blue take over a mix quickly, so add them last and in small amounts. For the closest recipes, build your palette from the tubes you own, or scan your own swatches with the Swatch Scanner.
A printed chart looks different from the screen
Every printer has a color cast. Use the printed chart to find the swatch you want and read the percentages under it, then mix by the numbers. Do not match wet paint against the printed color.
Camera or Save to Photos does not work
Open the Settings app, scroll to BrushLens, and allow Camera and Photos. Proportion Check also works from a photo of your painting if you prefer not to use the camera.
